This painting depicts the cast of the remake of the 1970’s American TV show “MASH” set during the Korean War [but now relocated to the Middle East]. It is taken from the hilarious episode entitled “Whoops”.

Front: Radar [John Howard], Klinger [Alexander Downer].

Rear: Frank Burns [Dick Cheney], Hotlips [Condi Rice], Trapper [Tony Blair], Hawkeye [George Bush Jr] and the other Frank Burns* [Donald Rumsfeld].

The patient [under the sheet] is played by the nation of Iraq.

*The producers could not separate Cheney and Rumsfeld after their audition, so, since both actors bore an uncanny resemblance to the original Frank character, they decide to split the part.
